Mary Wing, Grad Dip. CCM


Mary is a peer educator and patient advocate who has lived for many years with neuropathic pain. She holds a Post/Grad Diploma in Chronic Condition Management and spent 3 years facilitating chronic condition self-management programs locally and 4 years facilitating online in the USA and Canada. Mary founded the Adelaide Pain Support Network in 2017 and with the help of a wonderful team of facilitators, runs 3 peer education/support groups for people with chronic pain. She is currently a member of the Consumer Advisory Group for Painaustralia and was a patient representative on the Steering and Implementation Committees of the Statewide Pain Strategy for the South Australian Government. Mary is a patient representative for hospital pain clinic committees and has collaborated in research. She has presented locally and internationally and is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and the Global Alliance of Partners for Pain Advocacy (GAPPA).
